Just Because Summer Is Almost Over...

September....
The beginning of the cooler Autumn weather....
Starbucks brings back their soul warming seasonal beverages (hellooooo, PSL!)

The basic white girl can feel free from judgement to wear her furry boots with leggings and puffy vests (I mean.... we're still being judged.... and our legs are super cold.... but we're cute!)
The days are getting shorter, the evenings longer....

But do you know what's sticking around? The bright, harsh light of the day star! (Okay, I'm in Las Vegas.... which means it's sunny almost all year long. Those of you who live in places where you go for days/weeks without the harsh radiating sun.... I envy you!)

With all that being said, I was stoked when I got to try out these amazing sunnies! I mean, they're cute, lightweight, SUPER affordable, and let's face it.... I look daaaaamn good ;)

Today's review: WearMe Pro Women's Mirror Lens Cat Eye Framed Sunglasses. Seriously, did NOT think I was going to find my new favorite pair of sunnies for LESS than $10!!! (Regularly almost $30, but they are ON SAAAAALE on Amazon!)

I am seriously facing the sun in this photo (in the drive thru line.... at.... Starbucks!)
Notice the lack of squint, the "Devil May Care, Look at My Resting Bitch Face" pose. And you know what..... there was a significant lack of migraine after this trip (I get frequent migraines due to being outside... because I can't handle bright lights!)

Get your own here: goo.gl/YoLTy3
WearMe Pro also has some super sweet Aviators! They're a little big on my face, though... so I am giving those to a friend! Their selection is vast, so be sure to look them up and check out all their options!

GEEKSTRESS RATED: 10/10!!!
TRY IT OR BUY IT?: Why are you still reading this?! Why are you not on Amazon RIGHT NOW getting a pair of your own?!
SUPER BOMB or SUPER BUST: Super Bomb! Love 'em!
Hope you love them as much as I do!
xoxo

Advil Menstrual Pain Tablets Review

When I first received my free sample of Advil Menstrual Pain Tablets from Smiley360 I was excited. I was  looking forward to trying a new way to end some of my period woes. The first thing I noticed was the packaging. It is definitely geared towards women (obviously), with it's pink/purple additions to the usual Advil label. I flipped over the box to check out it's active ingredients. I was a little disappointed at this point. The only active ingredients in this product are ibuprofin, and ibuprofin sodium. While these products are great for inflammation (aka a big part of cramps), I wasn't impressed with the fact that it was the only active ingredients. However, I'm not one to judge a book by it's cover, so I gave it a go! My first day is always the worst day. It can be debilitating. I started my morning with 1 Advil Menstrual Pain tablet, and after four hours I took another. While it helped a little with my cramps, it did nothing for my bloating or fatigue. ...

When You Want Some Easy Comfort Food...

Imagine, it's Sunday morning. Last week was rough, and you could use a simple dinner idea that everyone will love. Queue Chile Verde. It's simple, and delicious. And my recipe isn't necessarily the traditional way to make it, but amazing nonetheless! Here's what you'll need: 2 lb. pork loin roast, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes 1 - 16oz. jar salsa verde (we used Pace, but you can use any brand you trust!) 1 - 7oz. can diced green chiles (we used store brand for this one) 3 lg. red potatoes, cut into 1 inch cubes (Russets also work well with this meal, so use what you have or looks good at the store this week!) 1 tbsp. minced garlic (if you want to mince it yourself, it's about 3 cloves fresh garlic) 1/4 tsp. ground cumin 1 tsp. dried oregano 1/2 tsp. garlic powder Salt & Pepper, to taste Steps! (Some of which have photos!) Wash and cube your potatoes. You want each piece to be about 1 to 1 1/2 inches. Toss 'em in the crock pot. I...

What's On YOUR Dinner Menu This Weekend?!

Y'all, earlier this week I whipped up a super simple, SUPER delicious dinner. I couldn't in good conscience not share the recipe with you! Granted, it's pretty basic, but that's what makes easy dinners so great, isn't it? Tastes great, easy to throw together, and if you're crazy like I am the kids can even help a little! So I present to you: Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole! See here: The Before Here's what you'll need: 2 lg. boneless, skinless chicken breast 1 - 28 oz. can Green Chile Enchilada Sauce (we used La Victoria brand, but use your favorite! If you don't have a favorite, might I recommend La Victoria?!) 16 to 18 - 6 inch white corn tortillas (or yellow, if that's your preference!) 1 - 7oz. can diced green chiles (any brand will do, personally we used the store brand!) 2 c. Mexican or Fiesta Blend shredded cheese (we like Kirkland Mexican Blend, but you do you, boo!) 1/2 tbsp. garlic salt 1/2 tbsp. onion powd...
